1. Acceptance of Terms
By joining or participating in The Trainer's Edge Community, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and any additional Community guidelines or policies. If you disagree, you may not participate in the Community. The Community administrators reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting in the Community or notification to members.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Community, you must:
Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
Be an independent contractor actively working as a sales trainer or in a related sales training role.
Provide accurate information during registration or onboarding, including your professional background and contact details.
Maintain the security of your Platform account and not share login credentials.
3. Purpose of the Community
The Community is a professional space for independent sales trainers to:
Share knowledge, resources, and best practices related to sales training.
Network with peers, collaborate on projects, and discuss industry trends.
Support each other in professional development and business growth.
4. Use of the Community
As a member, you agree to:
Engage in professional, respectful, and constructive communication in all channels, direct messages, and interactions.
Share content relevant to sales training, such as tips, tools, strategies, or industry insights.
Respect the intellectual property of others when sharing resources, templates, or training materials.
Adhere to any specific channel guidelines (e.g., off-topic, job postings, or resource-sharing channels).
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
Post or share content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or harassing, including content that targets individuals based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.
Share confidential or proprietary information, including client data or training materials, without permission from the owner.
Solicit or promote services, products, or opportunities in a spammy or disruptive manner. All promotional posts must follow designated channels and Community guidelines.
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform in ways that disrupt the Community or violate Platform policies.
Engage in personal attacks, trolling, or behavior that disrupts the professional tone of the Community.
Attempt to access or interfere with the Platform’s systems or other members’ accounts.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (e.g., messages, documents, or training resources), but grant the Community and its administrators a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store such content to operate and maintain the Community.
Community Content: Content provided by the Community or its administrators, such as guides, templates, or branding, is owned by the Community or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute such content without prior written consent.
Respecting Others’ IP: Do not share or use others’ training materials, presentations, or proprietary content without explicit permission.
7. Confidentiality
You agree to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information shared in the Community, such as client details, business strategies, or proprietary training methods, and not disclose it outside the Community without consent.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
Moderation: Community administrators and moderators may monitor interactions, remove content, or restrict access to ensure compliance with these Terms.
Reporting Violations: Report violations of these Terms or Community guidelines to moderators via direct message or designated reporting channels.
Consequences: Violations may result in warnings, temporary muting, removal from specific channels, or permanent removal from the Community, depending on the severity of the breach.
9. Termination
By You: You may leave the Community at any time by exiting the Platform server or contacting a moderator.
By the Community: Administrators may suspend or remove you from the Community for violations of these Terms, disruptive behavior, or at their discretion.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you must cease participating in the Community, and any obligations (e.g., confidentiality) remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers
The Community and Platform are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including availability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The Community does not endorse or verify the accuracy of content shared by members, including training advice, resources, or recommendations.
The Community is not responsible for outcomes resulting from collaborations, referrals, or business arrangements made through the Community.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Community, its administrators, and the Platform will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the Community, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Community, its administrators, moderators, and the Platform from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your participation, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third= third-party rights.
13. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with any Community guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Community.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Community’s consent.
